The original plug-and-play module for 2022–2024 Mavericks. This requires tapping a single wire and briefly removing some panels from the passenger side of the center console. Sets the drive mode that you choose each time the truck has started. No cutting, no soldering, no reprogramming.
The high-tech module for 2022 to 2024 Mavericks. This plugs right into an unused interface in the engine bay, and does not require any wire tapping. Has the ability to remember the last mode that you changed your car into, and will restore to that mode when you turn the truck back on.
Find the factory connector — with the classic version, you remove one plastic trim piece at the passenger center console to find the wire to tap. With the CAN version, you just open the hood — the connector will be right there waiting for you on the right hand side.
